Meena, is one of the girls who has been sponsored since the beginning of this project. She was born the 11th of January, 1989. She was brought up with her parents and her two younger sisters in Chobhar. She aims at being a successful doctor and a social worker. Meena is now studying at a medical university in Pokhara. She says, “After completing my masters degree I will go to villages and work for poor people so that their painful lives can change into happy lives.”

As for her personal hobbies, she likes reading novels, dancing, visiting and learning about new places. She has a great zeal to do social work and she is also very interested in learning the English language, learning computers and meeting new people. She appreciates Mr. Madhav lal Maharjan, Pi-Charlotte, Svante Strindberg and Mrs. Nanda Maharjan as inspiring people in her life.

She is very thankful for their love, support and inspiration and wants to do her best in this sponsorship project.
